Cordless Safe® Guarantee

Passed by safety testing laboratory, Bureau Veritas, we proudly offer the “Cordless Safe®” Guarantee on all products when assembled, installed, and operated properly. That means that you can rest assured when fitting our products to your window coverings and know that all your finished products exceed the criteria outlined in 2012 ANSI-WCMA standards. No more dangerous cords. That’s the “Cordless Safe®” Guarantee.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Safe-T-Shade (STS) warrants that all STS products conform to STS specifications and therefore, shall be free of defects in workmanship and material under the normal use and service for which intended. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. STS shall, at its expense and at its option, repair, replace or issue appropriate credit for any STS products that proves to be defective. STS’s liability, in such cases, applies only to the STS product, and explicitly not to any other product, nor does it extend to include any related cost or expenses incurred by installation, replacement, repair or return. This warranty herein is in lieu of all other warranties, oral or written, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of fitness for use. In no event shall STS be liable for loss of anticipated profits or for special collateral, consequential or incidental damages, direct or indirect.

Return Policy

Customers should contact Customer Service (336-228-6000) to receive a Returned Goods Authorization number and additional instructions for return.

  • Safe-T-Shade (STS) Customer Service must be notified within 60 days of the original issued invoice for all potential returns. Once return is approved, you will be provided a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. The return must be shipped back to STS within 14 day of receipt of your RGA number.
  • All returns will be charged with a 25% restocking fee unless return is made due to an issue with STS product quality. In this case, the restocking and shipping fees will be waived.
  • If a return is made for any reason other than product quality, the customer will be held responsible for return shipping arrangements and fees. All products should be returned in their original packaging with RGA number marked clearly on the box.
  • All returns will be processed within 5 business days of receipt under normal circumstances.
  • Any credit due to the customer will be expedited through STS’s accounting department.
